I had fun making this video as a response to negative comments on the Naturehike Mongar 2 Review video from last year (2021). The commenter claimed that my review of the Mongar 2 was too kind. That the shelter was in fact rubbish for bad weather pitching because of my incorrect claim that the Mongar cannot be pitched outer (fly) first. I attempted to pacify the commenter and offer instruction on how this could be done. He became even more angry. And so I offered to converse with him via a direct message on my Instagram . I also suggested I might make a video in the future to clarify the way to solve the issue he was having with the Mongar. This is that video. I wanted to help the guy out (and anybody else who may have been facing the same problems). Though I couldn’t forget the fact that his comments were aggressively written, which pissed me off. Changing the Phoxx series of tents from OEX to make them pitched inner and outer at the same time is easy. It only takes a few minutes of effort, two lengths of cord, a stick and a peg. It's so simple, it's unbelievable. This is the reason I made a video about it. To show how easy it is to remove a lot of campers’ biggest issue with this tent and thus making it a lot more useful and useable. I had a great time making this video. While playing with angels and shots, trying to get the best lighting. I enjoy making these videos. They are giving me the chance to learn more about filming than I would on the moors. I don't always have the time to spare. Whenever I can, I should learn more about my filming. It makes it far easier in the editing process and if you know me at all; you know I hate editing!
